Nestled in the serene Puteri Harbour, Pinetree Marina Resort offers a perfect escape for those seeking tranquility and comfort. Our recent staycation at this stunning resort during the holy month of Ramadan was a memorable experience, combining relaxation, family bonding, and delightful culinary moments.

Checking into the resort was a breeze. We simply headed to the reception area, provided our booking number, and the friendly staff took care of everything seamlessly. As I didn’t have my IC with me, I used my passport for identification, and the process was smooth and hassle-free.

Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and the refreshing scent that welcomed us. We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom executive apartment, perfect for a family of four. The apartment boasted two bathrooms and ample space, making it ideal for a serene retreat. The bedding was impeccably maintained, with fluffy pillows and a well-kept mattress that ensured a restful sleep. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the master bedroom, overlooking the sea and the Singapore skyline – a sight to behold.

What made our stay even more convenient was the in-room laundry facility, perfect for families needing to freshen up their clothes before heading home. Outside the room, the resort's fitness center was another pleasant surprise. It was well-equipped and meticulously maintained, catering to guests who enjoy staying active even while on vacation.

For dinner, we ventured to Jolly Golf Inn in Iskandar Puteri, just a 15-minute drive from the resort. The Ramadan promotion offered a mouthwatering spread of dishes, including Udang Harimau Mee Bandung, Pan Mee Kering Ayam Merah with Telur Rebus, Pan Mee Kering Ikan Kicap with Telur Rebus, Nasi Briyani Ikan Kicap Pedas with Acar & Papadum, and Nasi Briyani Ayam Masak Merah with Acar & Papadum. While waiting for our orders, the kids enjoyed playing with the toys provided, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The next morning, the kids eagerly prepared for their swimming adventure. Before diving into the pool, we had breakfast at Swatches Restaurant, located beside Pinetree Marina Resort. It’s worth noting that breakfast isn’t included in the serene retreat package, so any breakfast or sahur needs to be arranged separately at the front office.

The pool was a hit with the kids, providing a safe and enjoyable space to splash around while we soaked in the stunning views of the Johor Strait and Singapore. A gentle reminder to parents and guardians – always keep an eye on your little ones to ensure their safety while they enjoy the water.
