Handal Indah Sdn Bhd proudly announces the official launch of the "Bringing Smile to Life with myBAS Johor Bahru" program from 13th -19th of December 2024, aimed at encouraging Malaysians to register for the PAS Transit initiative. This campaign offers unlimited rides on all myBAS Johor Bahru routes to eligible beneficiaries, making public transportation more accessible and affordable across the state.
The highlight of this initiative is a registration counter conveniently set up beside the Christmas Decoration CenterStage at AEON Tebrau City Mall, offering 700 myBASKonsesi cards to eligible individuals. These cards, valued at over RM1.2 million in bus fares, grant users unlimited travel for one year. The program can be renewed annually as long as the myBAS Johor Bahru project continues.
Ms. Lim Chern Fang, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Handal Indah Sdn Bhd, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnerships driving this campaign:
Adding to this, Ms. Indrimita, Assistant Marketing Manager, shared:
"Through the Bringing Smile to Life campaign, we aim to empower communities with affordable and reliable transportation while supporting the government’s vision of a sustainable public transit system. We are excited to see the positive impact this program will have on the beneficiaries."
The event brought together 51 Malaysian children, accompanied by two NGOs—Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Nesam and Gabungan NGO Prihatin Johor. Both organizations are identifying additional beneficiaries from their networks who may need the myBAS service.
Corporate partners are also showing their support for the program. Notably, Fanpekka, an indoor theme park, is encouraging families visiting their premises to register for the myBASKonsesi card. SDS, with its tagline "I Love SDS," aligns its advocacy of "Share, Dine, and Smile" with the program’s mission to spread joy and smiles among beneficiaries.

The myBASKonsesi card is available for Malaysian citizens who fall into the following categories:
