A Milestone to Remember: My Experience at the First-Ever Transport Expo Asia 2025

This time around, I’m excited to share another meaningful milestone with all my readers. I had the honor of being part of the first-ever Transport Expo Asia 2025, held at Sama-Sama Hotel in Kuala Lumpur — a truly significant moment for the public transportation industry in Malaysia and across Asia.

As a Senior PR and Marketing Specialist at Handal Indah, being able to represent our company at such a major event was both rewarding and inspiring. This expo gave us the opportunity to showcase our capabilities across various sectors, including our bus services and other public transport solutions in both Malaysia and Singapore.

Being at the forefront of this initiative was not without its challenges. Each team member came with different working styles and personalities — but what truly mattered was that we shared a common goal and that is to execute everything needed to make our participation in this event a success. And we did just that.

This event marks our first official exhibition in Kuala Lumpur since the pandemic, making it an important exercise not just for the company but for everyone involved. It was refreshing to engage with the public again, to tell our story, and to share the progress we have made in public transportation.

We were also honored by the visit of the Transport Minister of Malaysia, YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, who took time to explore our booth. From his insights and interactions, we could clearly see his commitment towards strengthening public transportation across the country. His vision and direction are aligned with our efforts, making this expo an excellent platform to boost public awareness.

One of my biggest highlights was seeing how our booth became one of the most visited booths at the entire event. Despite having a simple 3m x 6m setup, the final look was fantastic — clean, inviting, and impactful. Our interactive games using our bus replicas were a huge hit and provided a fun learning experience for visitors of all ages. This level of engagement is definitely something we aim to carry forward into our future events.

Working with different divisions was truly a great experience. The energy, the cooperation, and the shared passion created a vibrant atmosphere throughout the expo. Everyone gave their best, contributing in their own way to make the event run smoothly.

Our Spin & Win campaign became a star attraction. Visitors and even fellow exhibitors were excited to drop by our booth to participate and take home our exclusive giveaways.

From a PR perspective, this event was extremely valuable. The crowd turnout was strong, and the interactions gave us insights on how we can further improve from booth layout to communication flow and cost efficiency.
Overall, Transport Expo Asia 2025 was not just an event for us it was a milestone, a learning experience, and a reminder of why we do what we do. I’m grateful for the trust, the teamwork, and the opportunity to represent Handal Indah on such a big stage. And I’m already looking forward to the next chapter.
