SMK Mutiara Rini Wins Jom Naik myBAS Johor Bahru Video Competition 2.0
The Jom Naik myBAS Johor Bahru Video Competition has successfully concluded its judging session. This year's competition featured 18 entries from more than 81 students representing various schools across the five corridors in Johor.
The
primary objective of the competition was to highlight the operational
excellence of myBAS Johor Bahru, the new bus service in Johor, and engage
students in creating impactful videos that educate the public about its
services.
The
championship title goes to Entry Number 11 from SMK Mutiara Rini, whose
outstanding video not only showcased the operations but also emphasized the
benefits of myBAS Johor Bahru.
The winner receives a prestigious cash prize of
RM1,000, a certificate, a trophy, and additional marks for their
extracurricular activities, endorsed by Jabatan Pendidikan Negri Johor (JPN).
Securing
the second position is entry number 17 from SMK Mutiara Rini, recognized for their creative
presentation style and compelling storyline. They will be awarded a cash prize
of RM750, along with a certificate, trophy, and extra marks for their
commendable involvement in extracurricular activities.
The
third prize goes to entry number 10 from SMK Tun Habab for their remarkable
video highlighting the benefits of bus transportation. The third-place winner
receives a cash prize of RM500, a certificate, a trophy, and additional marks
for their outstanding contributions to extracurricular activities.
Two
special prizes—Special Choice Award (Online) and Special Choice Award
(Offline)— were presented to SMK Bandar Mas and SMK Tun Habab, respectively. Both special award
winners receive a cash prize of RM250, certificates, and additional marks
recognizing their active participation in extracurricular activities.
Mr.
Riduan Salleh, the Project Manager of myBAS Johor Bahru, expressed his
satisfaction with the initiative, emphasizing its success in involving schools
from various corridors and encouraging active participation in promoting public
transportation awareness in the state. Special thanks were extended to Toppen
Shopping Center for their support in showcasing the judging session of Jom Naik
myBAS Johor Bahru 2.0.
Participating
schools in the event include SMK Skudai. SMK Kota Tinggi, SMK Bandar Mas, SMK Mutiara Rini and SMK Tun Habab.
Meanwhile,
Sonny Peru Cosme, PR & Marketing Specialist of Handal Indah Sdn Bhd, who
spearheaded the event said that this event aims to provide students with an
opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity in creating valuable videos
that benefit the public.
The
Jom Naik myBAS Johor Bahru Video Competition remains a successful platform for
students to contribute to the promotion of sustainable transportation practices
within Johor Bahru.
