Renaissance Johor Bahru Offers Handcrafted Mooncake For Mid-Autumn Festival 2022
Wan Li Chinese Restaurant of Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel has prepared an array of traditional baked and snow skin mooncakes in various flavors for the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival 2022.
Also known as the Chinese Moon Festival, the mooncakes will add a special element to the globally symbolic festival for family reunions.
The Hotel offers 16 varieties of handcrafted mooncakes, both traditional baked and snow skin is now available at the Mooncake Booth in the hotel's main lobby. There is time to savor, choose and purchase mooncakes at this booth till 10 September.
Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel’s Chef De Partie, Lim Pei Shi has introduced traditional baked mooncake varieties according to classic recipes. She was accompanied by Malaysian Actor, Aidit Noh to do some traditional mooncakes.
All mooncakes are handcrafted daily with fresh, fine-quality natural ingredients without preservatives. These include Pure Lotus Paste, Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Lotus Paste with Double Yolk, Green Tea Paste with Single Yolk, Jade Custard, Assorted Fruits & Nuts and Red Bean Paste.
This year’s handcrafted snow skin mooncake varieties include Golden Peach Truffle, Blueberry Truffle, Strawberry Truffle, Orange Truffle, Matcha Truffle, Chocolate Crunchy Pearl, Taro Paste Truffle, and Peppermint Truffle. Not forgetting our all-time favorite Durian Truffle is also available in-store.
These handcrafted mooncakes are beautifully presented in an elegant glazed violet and tiffany blue box with a choice of a set of eight priced at RM128 nett for snow skin mooncakes, a set of four with starting price of RM128 nett for traditional baked mooncakes, and Durian Truffle at RM148 nett in a box of eight. The encased box makes the ideal gift that symbolizes prosperity, happiness, and family reunion during this festive season.
