With the opening of Causeway Link CW2 for its first-ever 24-hour cross-border service, here are the things you should know. 

1. What are the bus service operations? 

The Causeway Link CW2 bus service serves the route between JB CIQ in Malaysia and Queen Street Bus Terminal in Singapore via the Causeway (Woodlands / First Link)

2. How much is the bus fee? 

The route bus fare is as follows: 

Queen Street- JB CIQ: SGD4.80 per trip

JB CIQ- Queen Street MY4.80 per trip 

EZ Link and NETZ payment are not available as means of payment at their counter in Queens Street due between 11:30PM to 6:30AM. Their counter their si closed at that particular time and no one to assist with the payments.  Passengers are encouraged to pay by ManjaLink card or Visa card as cashless payment for the bus fare. 

3. Why is there an extension of the bus service? 

Accordingly, this extension of bus service aims to provide assistance to those who are working late at night and to allow more people to travel even past midnight. 

4. What are the bus service’s current operating hours?

Causeway Link CW2 bus service is currently running the bus service at 4:00 AM as the first bus and 10:30 PM as the last bus at our JB CIQ pick-up area while at Queen Street terminal, the first bus is at 6:30 AM and the last bus is at 11:30 PM. 

This is the first and only 24-hour bus service of Causeway Link at the moment.

5. How many trips does this bus service provide between JB and Singapore daily? 

The bus is running around 100 - 120 trips, when there is a higher demand, more trips will be added. The number of trips is unpredictable especially when the Causeway is jammed. Bus schedule may be subject to change from time to time without prior notice due to road conditions.
