Let's meet, Chef Artha Parama, a well-known culinary artist with a passion for cooking. Hailing from Bali and with over 10 years of experience in the food industry, Chef Rama's love for cooking began at a young age as he watched his grandfather prepare sumptuous feasts for their family's Balinese ceremonies.

Throughout his career, Chef Rama has developed a signature style that blends classic techniques with modern flavors, creating dishes that are both familiar and innovative.

He sources only the freshest ingredients, using mainly Bali indigenous spices. His expertise in Balinese and Indonesian cuisine is sure to delight even the most discerning palate.

Diners will be treated to a wide array of Balinese dishes with three menus on rotation daily. Orders of the day include Beef Rendang – Angus, Lawar Klungah, Nasi Kuning Uluwatu, Ayam Betutu, Sapi Bumbu Bali, Karee Ayam Bali, Tempe Bacem, Nyat-Nyat and Lak Lak.

Other delicious Balinese fares include Urap Sayur, Balung Sapi, Nasi Uduk Kuta, Ayam Panggang Sambal Matah, Ayam Lengkuas, Udang Bakar Jimbaran, Bubur Sum Sum, Ongol-Ongol and Lupis.

Meanwhile, Seasonal Tastes accommodates 120 diners, with outdoor seating for an additional 36 diners. The restaurant also has a semi-private dining room for 10 people, the perfect setting for small private events. Seasonal Tastes highlight the best of Malaysian, regional, and international fare. The all-day dining restaurant features live-action stations for diners to watch their orders being prepared for them. Diners can also look forward to a featured selection from Westin’s Signature Eat Well Program – part of the brand’s Six Pillars of Wellbeing.

As we entered our room, I was amazed by the stunning view of the city. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and had all the amenities one could ask for. From the fluffy pillows to the comfortable bed, everything seemed perfect.

But what really stood out to me was its location. I can see some parts of Singapore and also the causeway between JB and Woodlands. I love the ambiance of this place.

Throughout our stay, we indulged in the delicious local cuisine at the hotel's restaurant and took advantage of their top-notch facilities, including the gym and swimming pool.

As a content creator/ vlogger, io enjoyed documenting this place.  Very convenient. From vlogging our experience to capturing the beautiful scenery, we had so much fun creating memories that we'll cherish forever.

As our staycation came to an end, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness. I was sad to leave the comfortable beds, the delicious food, and most of all, the amazing staff who made our stay truly unforgettable.

But as we drove away from Capri by Fraser, I couldn't help but feel grateful. Grateful for the opportunity to experience such a wonderful staycation with my family, and grateful for the memories we created together. And with that, I knew that we would be back to create even more unforgettable moments.

This place is an excellent place for guests to enjoy delicious meals. It is a contemporary restaurant that offers an extensive buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner menus. The restaurant serves a wide variety of local and international cuisine, including Western, Asian, and fusion dishes.

The restaurant's ambiance is cozy, modern, and comfortable, with an open kitchen concept, allowing guests to see the chefs in action as they prepare their meals.

Today, I am super excited to take you on a journey with me as we explore together with Mr. Shaerib Ab Karim, the restaurant Manager of Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru/ Malaysia on their delectable Weekend Buffet-licious Dinner at Caprilicious of Capri by Fraser in Johor Bahru.

Their weekend buffet offers delicious shawarma that is made with tender chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a tangy garlic sauce. This dish is perfect for anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine

They also have their Mee curry live-action stall allowing guests to watch as their amazing chef prepares their meal with their own culinary techniques.

Since I have my kids with me, I went to the hotel’s dedicated kids' meals section which typically includes a variety of dishes that are kid-friendly, nutritious, and enjoyable for young diners. The kid's meal section may chicken nuggets, Tortilla chips, fried rice, and other biscuits that surely love by your little ones.

The hotel understands that kids have different preferences when it comes to food, and they try to cater to those preferences by offering a variety of options.

Indeed, the buffet-licious dinner is truly a gastronomic experience that you don't want to miss out on.

Part of their buffet is also their Ais Batu Campur, or ABC for short. This dessert is a popular Malaysian shaved ice dessert that typically consists of shaved ice, sweetened syrups, and various toppings such as red beans, corn, and jelly. 

Satay, on the other hand, is a popular Southeast Asian dish that is traditionally made with skewered chunks of meat that are grilled over an open flame. The meat is usually marinated in a mixture of spices and herbs, which gives it a delicious flavor. 

Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru offers a tasty satay that is made with succulent chicken pieces that are infused with lemongrass, turmeric, and other spices. The satay is served with a side of peanut sauce, which adds a creamy, nutty flavor to the dish.

Moving on to the main course, the live cooking stations were a treat to watch. The chefs were extremely skilled and cooked the food to perfection. The Indian section was a personal favorite of mine, and the chicken biryani was one of the best I've had in a while.
