Ramadan Buffet Preview of Sunway Hotel Big Box
Welcome to the Pendas Café of Sunway Hotel Big Box here in Puteri Iskandar Johor. This is one of the hotels that are available here showcasing a dinner buffet here at Iskandar Puteri
This hotel is about 20 minutes five away from the city center of Johor Bahru and also about 15 minutes to the Second Link Tuas going to Singapore.
This year, the hotel is offering their Juadah Big Box buffet with lots and lots of local delicacies for everyone to try.
Chef Yap, the executive Chef of the Hotel mentioned that their buffet highlights this year will be purely focusing on Malay Traditional dishes suitable for this Ramadan Buffet.
On the hot dishes side, they have Ayam Masak Lemak, Udang Goreng Kunyit, Itik Masak Lemak, Ikan Patin Gulai Tempoyak, Paru Berlada, Sambal Tumis Petai Ikan Bilis, Sambal Terung, Labu Masak Lemak Putih, Tenggiri Fish Curry, and Ladies Finger.
They also have this Nasi Basmathi Putih, Nasi Ulam topped with Kerepok, as well as nasi Basmati Briyani.
Chef yap has also brought us to their grilling area we can try their barbeque whole lamb.
Part of the buffet lineup is also their all-year-round shell out with ingredients namely sliced squids, tiger prawns, flower crab, and fresh white clams.
This is their Satay, one of my favorites, and is also available in this buffet. It is grilled on the spot hence you can really smell the satay taste from the smoke out from the grilling pan. They have beef and chicken satay accompanied with condiments as well.
Guest would also be happy with their fresh Durian that is all the way from Melaka. This durian will be served from 8 PM onwards during this buffet period.
On top of that, diners will also have a try on their fresh coconut fruit and coconut shake which are prepared on the spot.
Part of
this buffet is also their assorted local desserts that are arranged properly
for everyone to easily take it.
Indeed, our
buffet experience here at the hotel was really superb. There are some dishes that were really good which I can say is a recommendable one. Their shell-out was really something that I can remember among all their dishes. It was not too salty, it was just nice and the way the seafood was mixed up with the whole set was not that too spicy.
We also enjoyed the live
performance of Cherlike Acoustics which is expected to be available during
their Juadah Big Box buffet this year.
