Amazing Adventure At Cattle Queen Park In Kluang, Johor

We had a day trip to Kluang and we included Cattle Queen Park as one of our itineraries. According to our research, this park is recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the first Ruminant Park in the country.

Cattle Queen Park opened its door in the early part of 2020 and at that time, they were badly affected by the pandemic. The park has to be closed following SOPs and they need to maintain the whole operation of the park.

According to Mr. Zuraini, the Farm Assistant Manager, those times were so different to the extent that the team need to do an improvised drive-thru to serve their F&B products to generate additional profit to support the operation of the park.

Despite the challenges during that time, we are very glad that they are able to go thru and now they open again the place to the public with various exciting activities inside the park. We have documented it and here are the following activities:

A. Horseback Riding

This was really superb. Taking this ride is on a first come first serve basis. One ride is about 15 minutes and an additional fee of RM10 is required. Guardian/parents are advised to assist/check their kids during this activity.

B. Animal Feeding for their Cattles, Fish, and Goats

This activity is very interesting. The kids will like it. Of course, for kids who don’t usually expose to a farm, it will take time for them to adjust to the new environment.

Anyways, when we bought our tickets, they already provided us with animal food. The entrance ticket is very affordable at RM10 regardless of whether you are a child, adult, or senior citizen.

If you need additional animal food, there is an extra fee of RM10 per pack.

C. Feeding The Rabbits

The food for their rabbit is not included in the entrance fee. One cup of leaves (rabbit food) is worth RM10 and they have a section for us to sit down and feed their rabbit. It is very convenient and I can say that my kids love this part.

Aside from these activities, guests can also check out their Deers from Indonesia as well as their Albino Buffalo.

Feeding these animals (deers and albino buffalo) is not yet advisable at the moment. Guests can observe them while being guided by the signboards about them placed in their designated areas.

After a long day at the park, we rested at their Kandang Kitchen. It is an open space that is just facing their animal park area. It's quite windy at that time so they don’t need to switch on their giant fans that are positioned inside their area in case the place gets crowded.

While resting, we order their strawberry and chocolate smoothies with their own goat milk. We also tried their signature Kandang Kitchen Beef Burger, Lamb Chop, and Meatballs. We love it. The marination of their lamb chop was outstanding and the taste was very flavorful.

According to Mr. Zuraini, all those major ingredients in their F&Bs like meat and goat milk are from their own farm.

After a meal, one can also enjoy having a walk at their souvenirs section and check out some of their merchandizes which is very interesting to bring back home after a long day at this animal park.

Overall, having a day trip here from Johor Bahru is very nice. You can spend here about 3.5 hours including having a meal (lunch) at their Kandang Kitchen before going back. If you have kids with you then for sure you will be finished at around 4-5 hours as it takes time for them to adjust to a new environment.
