Must Try Ice Cream Shop In Johor Bahru | Inside Scoop JB
This is Inside Scoop JB. It is an ice cream shop that is located here at MT Austin Johor Bahru offering various handcrafted ice cream flavors for everyone to try.
I remember
the last time I visited here was during the MCO3.0 and I am so happy to be here
again to dine in and have some scoop of their newly released ice cream flavors
as well as some of their best-selling menu.
Let’s start with one of their signature waffles. This is their Nutella set that comes in marshmallows and crushed hazelnuts on a chocolate chip charcoaled waffle, drizzled with Nutella sauce. This set is good for 4 pax.
They also have cream cones filled with two layers of ice cream flavors suitable for cone
lovers out there. The flavors can be customized from their wide range of ice
cream flavors.
Speaking of new flavors, we are able to check out their strawberry shortcake flavors with a fruity strawberry taste, Dark Chocolate Mint with an added taste of peppermint, Rocky Road flavour that is mixed with honey-roasted almond, and their Back Forest that has lots and lots of chocolate shavings. *
Their strawberry shortcakes which a fruity strawberry ice cream swirled with jersey milk ice cream create a beautiful pink-white ice cream set. This ice cream is added with their fluffy homemade vanilla sponge cake.
Dark chocolate mint is also on the list that comes in a Belgian Dark Chocolate ice cream infused with refreshing peppermint topped with chocolate shavings.
Their Rocky road flavor comes in Belgian dark chocolate ice cream mixed with roasted honey almonds swirled with Torched meringue.
And don’t
forget their Black forest ice cream that
is generously swirled with cherry confit and chocolate shaving. Additionally,
this set is folded in with chunks of homemade chocolate sponge cake.
Inside Scoop JB is also offering various beverages that are prepared on the spot by their amazing F&B team. Guest can check out their Roasted matcha latte, sweet potato Matcha latte, matcha original, Rose matcha, and Rose Hojicha latte. These sets are available in hot or cold versions and are available for takeaway and delivery as well.
On the other hand, we also had the chance to check out the ice cream cakes that are suitable for different occasions. These cakes are handcrafted by their own F&B team with a variety of ice cream flavors that they have here.
Let’s start with their log cake ice cream. This set comes in a red sugar pearl, whole chocolate shell, and white velvet spray. It has an inner filling of Belgian dark chocolate ice cream, cherry sorbet, chocolate sponge cake, cherry jam, and with almond praline feuilletine base.
They also have other ice cream cakes such as peanut butter chocolate ice cream, Bombe Alaska ice cream cake, 5 inches Roasted Ice cream cake, Rocher ice cream cake, Biscoff Cheesecake Ice cream, and Mermaid tail ice cream which come in a very artistic way, rubber ducky ice cream topped with a miniature duck ice cream, and seven inches signature cake that comes in two options. Customers can choose their durian and Valrhona chocolate ice cream or Valrhona chocolate with vanilla bean ice cream.
